There are plenty of things to hate about Mitt Romney. In the case of yesterday’s “47 percent” statement, though, inaccuracy is apparently not one of them.

In late August, when a certain Republican presidential candidate said that “big business” was “doing fine” due to “offshore tax havens,” I coined it a “Romney gaffe”—a slip of the tongue that’s embarrassing, but painfully accurate.
My most important takeaway from Klein’s article? I really hope “Romney gaffe” embeds itself in our cultural vernacular.
