Would You Take a Pregnancy Test in a Bar?

Soon, you probably can. Jody Allen Crowe, founder of Healthy Brains for Children, is installing them as a means to prevent fetal alcohol syndrome:

At \$3 a pop, the vended test costs a fraction of the price many drug stores charge. Mr. Crowe’s goal to install the dispenser in other public places – gas stations, fitness centers and malls – aligns more squarely with those perks. And with pregnancy tests often cited as the most shoplifted retail product, a case can be made for providing a new acquisition venue.
