I think this non-profit that teaches at-risk girls to build things is fantastic. In addition to battling gender stereotypes, it provides them with skills they can be proud of and maybe even leverage into future jobs. Since many at-risk kids are poorly-educated and from disadvantaged backgrounds, they desperately need to feel like they are good at something.
